About Barbara Couse Wilson
Barbara Couse Wilson earned her fine arts degree from Metropolitan State College in Denver, Colorado, and has also studied with several well-known artists at the Art Students' League in Denver. She is a member of the The Colorado Watercolor Society, The Gilpin County Arts Association, and The Parker Artist Guild, and exhitits at The Mainstreet Gallery, Parker, CO, as well as other Colorado and New Mexico venues.
Barbara enjoys working in pastel, oil, watercolor and mixed media. She teaches painting classes, and has painted several murals in the local area for businesses and private home owners. Seven of her watercolors illustrating early scenes in Parker, Colorado appear in the cookbook, Stage Stop Cuisine
